Glen Clack, MD

Chief Medical Officer (Consulting)

Dr. Glen Clack is Chief Medical Officer at CV6 Therapeutics and a physician-scientist with over 25 years of experience in oncology drug development. He has led early-phase clinical and translational programmes across a wide range of therapeutic modalities, including small molecules, biologics, antisense oligonucleotides, cell-based therapies, and therapeutic vaccines.

After graduating in medicine from the Royal Free Hospital School of Medicine in London, Dr. Clack spent five years in clinical practice within the UK NHS before joining AstraZeneca in 1997. There, he contributed to the registration of multiple oncology therapies and later led the early development of compounds targeting hormone signalling, angiogenesis, immune modulation, DNA repair, and tumour-specific genomic drivers. He has also served as an industry representative in academic and regulatory initiatives, including the CRUK Radiation Combinations Alliance.

Since 2015, Dr. Clack has held Chief Medical Officer roles in several oncology-focused biotech companies. He is Honorary Professor of Translational Medicine at the University of Sheffield and has lectured at the Universities of Manchester and Exeter. He was elected a Fellow of the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Medicine in 2012.
